Wow! So here we are! Finally, the tenth book in the series and the beginning of the SOMNIO SAGA has finally launched! I am very happy to finally be here at the finish line. This story has gone through a magnificent journey for sure.
This story began back in 2017, and it went through many concepts. It was not until 2023 that a finite storyline was forged. Through lots of failed attempts among chaos, SOMNIO appeared as you see it today. Before this though, the series was stagnant. It went into a dark period of a slowdown. I had all these eyes bubbling around, but no way to connect them all into the series. That was until the multiverse came to mind.
I see SOMNIO as a big bang. You know... when it was created the concept, the whole series just exploded. All at once in every direction. Stories came flying out into existence using it as a conduit. Without creating this concept, the series would not be where it is today. However, while creating this multiverse connection, I wanted the story to feel relatable yet something that would entice readers of all kinds.
So, I developed Amber which is the main character to start with. She Is very smart and intuitive. At a young age for her, I created a traumatic experience where she loses her brother Thomas. Crippled by the loss of her only family member and friend, she spends her whole life developing a technology to visit other universes. This action came into existence through an anomaly. It is not something that wasn't supposed to be possible, but it happened.
The story I wanted to focus on expanding the chaos of this anomaly and how it shapes the BLAUVERSE. So I created a concept where when she travels to these universes to find another version of her brother, she directly and in-directly changes future stories in the series as well as creates new ones. The BLAUVERSE literally was born with her. But remember the BLAUVERSE is not as small as you think, and creation will go far beyond her and this story in time.
