Zezteria, formally known as "Journals From Zezteria", was not the first book in the series written but it has been around the longest as a story though. The concept was created back when I was in sixth grade. I loved playing video games, especially shooter or adventure, but was never satisfied with what I had to play. So, I went on to try and create my own video game. This concept later turned into the universe centered around Zezteria. However, this universe is very vast and rich in story lines. One of the biggest that I have currently.

How the story was developed though came from a dream. In the dream I was on this planet in space, and I was attending college there. Students began disappearing in the night whenever they went exploring the basements of the building. So, I went to explore them myself and figure out what was happening. When I did, I saw monstrous creatures emerging out of the shadows that began stalking or chasing me. They were hungry for death, killing anything in sight. Then I woke up after one grabbed me.

​The reason why it was written in journal format though was because I wanted to capture that feeling of dread. You know, reading something that has happened already and not knowing what may come next. Also, it allowed me to connect many people to its mysterious story line. It begins with "Stephen's Journal", and it talks about how these people were abandoned on this planet after it completely mysteriously got shrouded in darkness. There was no light besides this circle that was lit up on one part of the planet where Stephen was at. But as the circle starts to fade or show signs of dimming, Stephen among a few others decide to descend into the madness around them and search for answers. But they find more than just that for sure.
